  11. Ambition and Eagerness.. Reaching the
  12. top as a goal within every scener,
  13. though not everyone realises it. The
  14. scene is fluctuating.. Trough the
  15. years certain countries dominate the
  16. scene, and certain groups have a big
  17. impact towards the scenish community..
  18. The question is why certain groups
  19. have a big impact and other have not!

  26. »CL2:The biggest reason of course are the
  27. productions released. Productions
  28. speak for themselves. However to have
  29. a big impact on the scene, groups have
  30. to get high rankings at the major
  31. party's like »CL3:Mekka/Symposium», »CL3:The
  32. Gathering», »CL3:Assembly» and »CL3:The Party»..
  33. Now I don't know about you, but I have
  34. seen groups who released more and
  35. better productions the last two years
  36. than certain other groups who are
  37. ranked a lot higher in Charts around
  38. while releasing almost nothing. The
  39. difference is they released at a big
  40. Party. 
  41. »CL2:Another remarkable fact is if you look
  42. at the »CL3:DEMO» categorie in the »CL3:Official
  43. Eurochart»s, »CL3:99%» of the demo's present
  44. were released at the big party's named
  45. above.

  48. »CL9:Polish Scene vs Western Civilasation

  50. »CL2:As everybody knows the »CL3:Polish» scene is
  51. the biggest and most active around.
  52. Most groups are far more productive
  53. and/or better than a lot of western
  54. groups, however »CL3:Polish» groups hardly
  55. reach the »CL3:BIG» party's of the west. Get
  56. the picture? Some Polish groups are in
  57. the »CL3:BEST GROUPS» charts, but their
  58. demo/intro's are nowhere to be found
  59. in the charts for these categories.

  70. The big parties get more attention,
  71. huge coverages by diskmagazines, and
  72. the demos are better spread than on
  73. other smaller parties. Groups like
  74. »CL3:Scoopex», »CL3:Haujobb», »CL3:CNCD», »CL3:Abyss», »CL3:Nerve
  75. Axis» release their demos on the big
  76. parties and their productions are
  77. ranked very high in charts around.
  78. Productions from groups like »CL3:Venus Art»
  79. or »CL3:Floppy» are almost in no chart
  80. around.

  83. »CL2:Some groups are in charts because of
  84. their huge history, no matter what the          »PIC:Artie1»
  85. achievements look like in the recent
  86. past. Releasing one demo a year at a
  87. huge party is enough to uphold their
  88. chart rankings. While other younger
  89. groups achieved much more in the same
  90. time period. Maybe it's time to
  91. release a new sort of charts, based on
  92. more recent (actual) achievements?

  94. None the less, if you want your group
  95. to get more attention in an easy way,
  96. you know what the masterplan should
  97. look like. Ain't it?
